I would like to take the time to thank Jennifer DerGarabedian for her time and effort in helping to make the selling of our house in the Crest a pleasant experience. As most of you know she is an agent for Windermere Real Estate/East, Inc. and she listed our house after we had no success with another agent from a different company. Plus she put us in touch with many contractors that made it possible for us to have the carpeting and tile replaced at a very reasonable price. She is a great resource for many contractors that can help to get your house in shape for sale, or just regular maintenance.
She kept us updated and informed throughout the complete process. Besides holding open houses, she offered to help stage the house. And at the end after many tough negotiations she even came down to help us get the remainder of our house packed and moved into the pods that we had delivered. On the final day of moving out she help my wife clean and get the house ready for the new owners.
On our first attempt to sell we had an agent that did not do a market evaluation, but instead told us to get an appraisal which we did and then listed the house for that amount. That was a complete disaster. At that point Jen held two open houses and she was not the listing agent but did it at no cost to us just to help us. After the first attempt failed because it was overpriced we took the house off the market, made some changes suggested by Jen and then hired her as an agent. See did a market analysis of current homes that sold based on comparison and we then listed for that price. The house sold in six (6) days after listing with Jen and her company. Then things dragged on through the selling process, because of the buyer's agent.
All in All I want to thank Jen for her dedication to us in helping to make the selling process a success. If you are thinking of selling or have any friends or relatives that are in the market to sell I would highly recommend that you contact Jen to help in the selling process. And to list your home.
